Verde Valley Archaeology CenterPreservation, Conservation and Education in a small specialty museum within the Verde Valley in Arizona. Private and Non Profit 501 (c) 3.
This campaign expires June 30, 2020
We're raising funds for a repository and a Museum building. We have the Paul Dyck collection of local ancient Sinagua people. (The Plains Indians collection from him went to the Buffalo Bill museum in Cody Wyoming). We are unable to show our beautifully preserved and rather large textile collection due to lack of space. The building we're currently in is small and donated space provided by the town of Camp Verde, AZ. Our projected cost is 15 million dollars for both a state of the art repository and museum building to include children's learning, adult learning and a presentation room as well as bookstore and museum space.
