In collaboration with the local Rwandan government and with the continued support of our most steadfast partners, Komera plans to build an innovative, interactive Girls' Empowerment Center. The Girls Empowerment Center will be the first of its kind in Rwanda and will serve as a beacon of hope, accessible to all citizens, including Komera Scholars. This participatory environment will bolster Komera's existing programs, engage the entire community, and ignite lifelong female leaders! The Center will serve as recreation center for girls in Kayonza with the purpose of accessing knowledge and skills that can help transform their lives. Young women will be able to access: Information technology skills, language development and communication skills, entrepreneurship skills, information on reproductive health, and information about Gender Based Violence.
