Ronald McDonald House Charities in OmahaThe mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha (RMHC) is to create and operate programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. We strive to do so by providing opportunities that strengthen children and families during their most difficult and challenging times. The specific purpose of the Ronald McDonald House Charities is to provide programing that supports access to care, reduces financial burden, provides psycho-social support keeping families together, enhances clinical experiences and outcomes, and helps families resume normalcy. We do this through taking a collaborative approach, incorporating community partners to provide comprehensive services.
This campaign expires December 31, 2019
Our Hope and Healing expansion, set for completion in the spring of 2019, will create a state-of-the-art healing center in which we are able to accommodate 40 families and include programs that aim to bridge gaps in medical, financial, education, and psychological services, as well as art and healthy lifestyle programs, and grief counseling. We have partnered with organizations such as Angels Among Us, Completely Kids, Grief's Journey, WhyArts, and an AgArts Camp to accomplish this.
