How much of my purchase goes to the organization of my choice?
Ten (10) percent of the price of every product purchase (before taxes and shipping & handling) will go to the organization you designate. So, for example, for every $100 you spend on delicious foods, your favorite charity will receive $10!
Will sales tax be added to my order?
The collection of sales tax is based on where an order is being shipped. We collect all local and state sales tax where applicable.
Will shipping & handling be added to my order?
Yes, shipping & handling costs apply to all Steaks for Good orders not made in Omaha Steaks retail locations.
Is my purchase tax-deductible?
Please consult with your tax advisor or the IRS to determine if a portion of your purchase may be tax-deductible.

Simply begin shopping on your preferred organization's page of our site, or mention the organization and campaign name when placing your order over the phone or shopping in one of our Omaha Steaks stores.
Note when placing orders over the phone or in stores that not all Omaha Steaks products are featured Steaks for Good products. The Omaha Steaks customer service representative will help you identify which product purchases will support the organization of your choice.
Am I able to purchase any Omaha Steaks products through Steaks for Good?
The Omaha Steaks selections on the Steaks for Good site have been carefully chosen to provide you with a wonderful array of our products - but unfortunately, our entire inventory could not be included. Check back often as the selections will change periodically.
Will charities receive any of my information when I make a purchase?
When you place your order, you will remain anonymous from the organization you are supporting.
How do I find the organization and fundraising campaign I want to support?
Visit our Shop & Support page. In the search field, begin typing the name of the organization you're seeking or the specific fundraising campaign you want to support. Choose one, and start shopping!
Why do some organizations have multiple fundraising campaigns?
Steaks for Good fundraising organizations are invited to create as many separate campaigns as they'd like to meet their unique fundraising goals. For example, a school may be raising money to build a gymnasium, offer student scholarships, and provide new math textbooks. With Steaks for Good, each of these unique fundraising goals can have its own page and base of shopping supporters. Choose the campaign that inspires you and get shopping!
The organization I want to support isn't featured yet. What should I do?
If you know that your organization is fundraising with Steaks for Good, but you can't find it, there are a couple of possibilities: The organization's registration may not be complete yet. (It can take 2-3 business days for our approval process, and then the organization must create its fundraising campaign page. Please come back soon, or make a purchase to support another great organization in the meantime.) Alternatively, the organization may not have any currently active fundraising campaigns. (In this case, we encourage you to reach out to the organization directly and let them know that you're eager to support them through Steaks for Good!)
If you don't think the organization you want to support is currently fundraising with Steaks for Good, but should be, contact them and urge them to register!

Can I place a single order to support multiple fundraising campaigns?
Only one organization will receive a percentage of proceeds from any single order. However, you may order as often as you like, and designate different fundraising campaigns as the recipient for 10 percent of each one!
I just placed my order online. How will I know it was received?
You will receive an email confirmation as well as shipping notification for each order placed online. The email confirmation should arrive within 24 hours. This confirms receipt of your order and provides your order confirmation number. The shipping notification will provide your package tracking number as soon as your product is sent.
Can I check on the status of my online order?
Yes! To view your order online, click on "Track Order" at the bottom of the page at www.steaksforgood.com. Simply enter your order confirmation number and click "Find."
Can I apply any Omaha Steaks coupons or discounts at Steaks for Good?
Because a portion of your purchase will support the organization you designate, we are unable to offer or honor any Omaha Steaks coupons or discounts. If you would like to use an Omaha Steaks coupon, mailer or discount code, please shop at www.omahasteaks.com.
How will my order be shipped, and when will I receive it?
Omaha Steaks products are shipped with our "mini deep freeze" packaging to ensure that they arrive frozen and in perfect condition.
Our standard shipping method will get your package delivered within 7-10 business days or less from the day we receive your order. You don't have to be home to receive your package; they will leave it at your door.
You will receive a shipping notification email when your package (or the first package in your shipment) is sent, which will provide a shipping tracking number.

Can I enter a delayed delivery date?
Yes! "Additional Shipping Options" can be found on the "Payment & Summary Screen" as you place your order. This screen will allow you to enter your payment information, edit the shipping addresses, and select the shipping options that meet your delivery needs.
Do you ship internationally?
Due to import/export restrictions, we are currently unable to ship outside of the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
What if I am not satisfied with my order?
We offer the Omaha Steaks 100% satisfaction guarantee. Steaks for Good and Omaha Steaks promise that you will love your product. If not, we will cheerfully replace the item(s) or refund your money.
What should I do with my cooler once I receive my order?
Our coolers can be recycled time and time again. Many Omaha Steaks customers enjoy reusing their coolers at picnics or for storage, but if you don't think you'll re-use it, please call your local recycling center to see if they will accept it.

What types of organizations can participate?
Non-profits that are IRS-designated as 501(c) organizations are invited to start fundraising with Steaks for Good! We know that there are a lot of other great causes and organizations out there, but we can only help support 501(c) organizations at this time.
Is there any cost for my organization to participate?
No, there is absolutely no cost to organizations! Once you create your fundraising account, we offer you the tools to spread the word about your Steaks for Good campaign(s) and you can leave the rest of the process up to us. You simply receive 10 percent of every sale designated by your supporters. You don't have to worry about buying any product upfront, processing payments or handling delivery. It's the easiest (and tastiest) fundraising you and your organization will ever do.
How does an organization register, get approved, and start fundraising?
Follow the path, like this one, to Register My Organization. Complete the basic organizational information and your account administrator information. If you do not work for the organization you are registering (for example, if you are a volunteer) you will have the opportunity to connect Steaks for Good with your organization to ensure that all tax-related information is communicated appropriately. Then, our team will approve your registration within 2 to 3 business days, and send instructions for setting up your fundraising page(s). It's quick and painless! We provide you the tools to promote Steaks for Good, and it is pretty much as hands-off as you want it to be after that.
Note that only one account administrator (and, thus, one account login username and password) will be allowed per organization. Please be sure that you are authorized to create an account, and prepared to be responsible for its information.
I am an individual trying to raise money for a non-profit organization, but don't have the federal tax exemption information. May I set up an account?
Sure! As long as the organization knows you're doing so, you're welcome to register an organization with Steaks for Good. We will need the 501(c) status and Tax ID verification, but can reach out to the main contact at the organization for that, if need be. When you proceed to Register My Organization, simply check "No," when we ask if you are an authorized representative of this organization. We will then prompt you to submit information for us to contact the organization directly and complete the registration.
Please be aware that only one account may be created for any organization. The account administrator contact information may be updated at any time, but the person who registers the organization must be prepared to be responsible for this account information.
If you think that your organization may already have an account, search through our participating organizations on our Shop & Support page, contact the organization directly, or reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-877-263-1166 If they don't have an account, you may be able to spearhead the organization's Steaks for Good fundraising!
I am trying to raise money, but am not affiliated with a non-profit organization. May I set up an account?
We know that there are many important causes in need of financial support out there, but we can only help non-profits (501(c) organizations, with federal tax exemption) achieve their fundraising goals, at this time.
I am really interested in Steaks for Good for my organization, but would like to speak with someone before I register. What should I do?
We've tried to make the online process as straightforward as possible, but would be happy to speak with walk through any concerns you may have. Feel free to call our fundraising hotline at 1-877-263-1166. We'll do our best to answer your call, or get back to you within the next business day.
Are fundraising organizations like mine responsible for completing or delivering customer orders?
Nope! All you have to do is encourage your supporters to visit your fundraising page, and we'll take it from there -- covering everything from the transaction through to delivery. That way, we can offer your shoppers the Omaha Steaks quality and service guarantee, and free your team from any added cost or hassle.
Are there any limits to the number of fundraising campaigns, length of each campaign or amount of money raised for an organization?
You can promote as many fundraising campaigns as you'd like, at once and over time, and there is no limit to the amount of money you can raise. We recommend that you limit the duration of each campaign (to 30, 60 or 90 days) in order to keep momentum up among your supporters, but leave it up to you to decide.
Will Steaks for Good give me the tools promote my organization's fundraising campaign(s)?
Yes! We'll provide you all of the tools you need to spread the word about Steaks for Good on your website, through social media, in print, via e-mail, etc. Just plug in your organization's name, and you'll be in business. We want to help you to be wildly successful in achieving your fundraising goals!
Once your registration is complete and you have agreed to our Terms & Conditions of use, you'll have login information to access your organization's "My Account" dashboard. You'll find the great, ready-to-go marketing assets you need there -- and on the off-chance there's something you need that we haven't provided, it's worth asking if we can help point you in the right direction.
How will my organization receive the proceeds from Steaks for Good?
You'll receive 10 percent of every purchase (before taxes and shipping & handling) made by your supporters and every month, we'll send a check. It's as simple as that. The check will be made out to your organization and sent to the account administrator's attention at the mailing address provided during registration (or updated through our account administrator dashboard anytime thereafter).
For fundraising organizations that already have a Steaks for Good account:
I forgot my username and/or password. What should I do?
If you are not the account administrator, please contact that person for authorized access to your organization's page.
If you are the account administrator, but have misplaced your username and/or password, you may reset it here, or call our fundraising hotline at 1-800-948-7832 and we'll be happy to assist you
How many administrators may access information on my organization's account?
We only allow one account administrator (one login) per organization. Sharing the login information with other fundraising individuals at the organization can only be done at the account administrator's discretion.
Do I have to create more than one fundraising campaign?
Every organization has the opportunity to create multiple fundraising campaigns to support multiple fundraising goals. For example, if you are managing a capital campaign and raising money for programming at the same time, you can create unique Steaks for Good campaigns (with unique timelines and monetary goals) and promote them individually to your supporters.
Note that you do have to create at least one campaign because your organization's fundraising page will only appear on the public Steaks for Good site when you have one or more active fundraising campaigns.
How many fundraising campaigns can my organization promote with Steaks for Good at one time?
You can promote as many fundraising campaigns as you'd like, at once and over time, and there is no limit to the amount of money you can raise. We recommend that you limit the duration of each campaign (to 30, 60 or 90 days) in order to keep momentum up among your supporters, but leave it up to you to decide. (If you do choose to put a time-limit on your campaign(s), we'll automatically send an email to your account administrator when each campaign is approaching its expiration date so that you may choose to extend it, start another, or simply give your supporters a little extra push to start shopping.)
How do I add a new fundraising campaign?
To create a new fundraising campaign, login to your account and click on the "My Fundraising Campaigns" tab. Click "Create a New Campaign," and enter the name, goal and duration of your campaign. (Always be sure to select "Save" to save your changes made in the editor.)
Click "Preview Event" to preview the public page and edit your project description. When you finish updating your information it will be subject to review on our side. When it is approved you will receive an email and it will then appear to the public and allow shoppers to place orders that support your organization! If you need to change the end-date, goal, description or visible information of your campaign at any time, this is where you will do it.

How should I go about setting my fundraising goal for a given campaign?
Your fundraising goals are entirely up to you! We want you to be successful at fundraising with Steaks for Good, so we encourage you to set reasonable goals. Think about it this way: You earn 10% of every sale, or $10 for every $100 purchase. Therefore, for every 10 people you bring to Steaks for Good that make an average $100 purchase toward your campaign, you'll get $100 from us -- or, for every 100 people, you'd get $1000. Simply think about the goals that make the most sense for your organization, and remember that you can always increase your goal during a campaign or start up another one!
How should I promote my Steaks for Good campaign?
We provide great resources to market your Steaks for Good fundraising campaign because we want you to be successful! On your Administrator login, in the "My Fundraising Campaigns" tab, you'll find ready-to-go tools to help you spread the word on your website, through social media, in print, via e-mail, etc. And on the off-chance there's something you need that we haven't provided, it's worth asking if we can help point you in the right direction by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 1-877-263-1166
Where do I see how much money my campaign has raised?
When you are logged in to your account, you can view the number purchases and amount of proceeds toward your fundraising goal on your "My Fundraising Campaigns" tab.
Note that dollar figures will not update until a purchase has been shipped, which could take up to 2 business days.
Will Steaks for Good remind me when my campaign is coming to an end?
Yes! If you have set your campaign to a limited duration (30 or 60 days, or another specified date), you will receive an email from Steaks for Good the week prior to your campaigns expiration. At this time, you will have the option to extend your campaign, or simply encourage your supporters to shop Steaks for Good in its final days!
Is it possible to reopen a previous campaign?
We create a unique code for each of your campaigns. Once the campaign closes, you will be able to reopen by changing the end date.
My organization and/or fundraising campaigns aren't appearing on the site for shoppers. What do I need to do?
Run through this checklist to try troubleshooting:
- Has your registration been approved? (It can take up to 2-3 business days for us to approve your registration and send the information to set up your fundraising page(s). If it has been longer than 3 days since you submitted your registration information, please contact us at email@example.com or 1-877-263-1166 to check on the status of your request.)
- Have you added your organization profile information on the "My Organization Profile" tab of your "My Account" dashboard, and clicked "Publish?"
- Have you created and published at least one fundraising campaign?
If the answer to all of these questions is yes, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-877-263-1166 and we'll be happy to help you.
I don't have any current fundraising campaigns, but I will in the future. May I temporarily hide my organization information from Steaks for Good shoppers?
Yes! Once you are registered, your account will not expire. Your organization will not appear on the public Steaks for Good site unless you have at least one active, published fundraising campaign. If you wish to make an active campaign inactive, simply move it from "Published" to "Draft" in the "My Fundraising Campaigns" tab of your "My Account" dashboard.
Will I receive any information about my supporters that placed Steaks for Good orders?
Because of our privacy guarantee, you will never receive personal payment, contact or shipping information about shoppers from Steaks for Good or Omaha Steaks.
