Epilepsy Foundation of MinnesotaFor over 60 years, the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota (EFMN) has supported the 60,000 people with epilepsy in our community through services that educate, connect and empower. The neurological disorder of epilepsy is more common than most realize. One in ten people will have a seizure in their lifetime, one in 26 people develop epilepsy. A seizure can happen to anyone, at any time, in any place. Our vision is a world where people with epilepsy realize their full potential.

We encourage you to consider a donation to our organization.
We lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. Our three pillars are to educate, connect and empower individuals and communities across Minnesota and eastern North Dakota.
EDUCATE the community and reduce the stigma around epilepsy.
EFMN has nationally-recognized programs that educate including seizure recognition and response trainings that are no cost to schools, businesses and other institutions around the state.
CONNECT people with epilepsy to others, and to resources.
Epilepsy impacts families, workplaces and classrooms. These programs connect people to others and include support groups, art classes, summer camps, and youth-centered sport events.
EMPOWER people living with epilepsy.
Living with epilepsy entails social challenges, medication side effects and fears of discrimination. These programs restore a sense of control to people who contend with the unpredictability of seizures and include advocacy, employment assistance, small emergency monetary grants to individuals, and information services.
